National Carrier of Andorra Selects Convergys Convergent Billing Solution to Support Entire Wireline, Wireless, and IP Operation

Implementation Will Be Based around Convergys' Infinys Rating

and Billing Component, Geneva

Convergys Corporation (NYSE:CVG), the global leader in integrated billing, employee care, and customer care services today announced that Servei de Telecomunicacions d'Andorra (STA) has selected Convergys' Infinys(TM) rating and billing component, Geneva(TM), to support its entire business including wireline, wireless, and IP, and to achieve greater convergence across its comprehensive service portfolio.

STA offers a wide range of services to both residential and business customers throughout Andorra including fixed-line telephony, postpaid and prepaid mobile telephony, and DSL Internet. The company wanted to upgrade to a truly convergent rating and billing product that could support all lines of business and one that would drive innovative bundles and cost-efficiencies.

By selecting Convergys' Geneva, STA will benefit from Infinys' proven multi-tiered design that helps to drive down costs, achieve a more efficient day-to-day operation across all services, and enable the quick introduction of new services. In the mobile space, for example, Convergys supports TAP3 roaming and offers the comprehensive prepaid capabilities that will enable STA to reposition its wireless business, improve average revenue per user, and adopt a more integrated approach to service delivery. Also, Convergys' support for GPRS and next-generation services will enable STA to pursue a forward-looking strategy.

The implementation, which is being carried out by DMR Consulting, involves the integration of Convergys billing software with Siebel CRM as well as various in-house legacy systems. Data migration to Geneva from the company's legacy billing platform is already underway, and Geneva is anticipated to be in operation and supporting STA's full range of products by the end of 2003.

Geneva is the rating and billing component of Convergys' Infinys, which delivers fully convergent customer management and billing capabilities for communication services companies.
