Privacy

At this time Aruba has signed a Tax Information Exchange Agreement; it has, however, not signed a Mutual Assistance Treaty with the United States. Also, Aruba is a full a participant in the European Union Savings Directive and has agreed to share personal information with other nations. As such, Aruba does not offer a particularly high level of privacy for either American or EU citizens nor has Aruba demonstrated a serious commitment to protecting the privacy of its offshore investors.
